Butternut Event Centre by Lakeshore Events is an affordable and flexible alternative to hotel ballroom facilities and country club banquet halls in the Greater Holland/Zeeland/West Olive area. Our unique facility is the answer to finding an affordable, elegant, and completely customizable venue for your special event.

From the moment you and your guests step into the ballroom, you will be enthralled by the color, the elegance, and expansiveness of the space. Create your own lasting memories at Butternut Event Centre with a variety of floor plans and countless of options sure to please. The venue has grand chandeliers, dance floor, stage, with sizeable foyer and lobby as well as an outdoor courtyard. The guest capacity is 224.

At Butternut Event Centre, one has access to a professional event planner ~ one that listens attentively and takes your budget to heart. Their aim is your happiness, so be honest, bold, and passionate when discussing what your special event looks like. Collaboration and communication are the keys to a successful event plan, after all.

Complete with a full catering kitchen with rear door access, ample electricity for cambros, sizeable refrigeration, and 500 lb. ice machine, plating area, three sinks complete with an employee bathroom. Butternut Event Centre allows you to bring in your own catering company to use our catering kitchen. Or, you can opt to utilize one of our preferred caterers ~ one that matches your tastes, specifics, and budget.

There is a full marble bar with two keg taps and three coolers, speed bar, two sinks, ice bin and a beverage gun, together with cocktail area and high top tables.
